Wooden Wick Candle Care Guide
Share

Wooden wicks offer more than just a warm, flickering flame. Their gentle crackling sound, reminiscent of a cozy fireplace, brings a sense of calm and comfort. But why do some wicks crackle more than others? It all comes down to nature. Each wick is unique, just like the tree it came from. Some may crackle more, others less—it’s part of their charm.
Paired with 100% natural beeswax, our candles are free from synthetic additives. Our combination of wooden wicks and beeswax offers a cleaner, slower burn that lasts longer.
To get the best burn, follow these simple care tips:
- Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim the wooden wick. This helps maintain a steady flame.
- Prevent Tunneling: Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container during the first burn. This sets the memory of the wax and prevents tunneling.
- Burn Time: Limit each burn session to 2-3 hours to preserve the candle’s lifespan.
Remember, fire is a living element treat it with care and create a safe, peaceful space for it to burn. Each candle carries the energy of nature—the bees that crafted the wax, the tree that grew the wood—connecting you to their story.
