May is about to finish, and it was a month full of new things for CocoBee. We made improvements to our formulas — like the moisturizing candle — and the cold gave way to warm, sunny days, which allowed us to show up at tržnica!
Tržnica… If someone had told me two years ago that I’d be spending my spring Saturdays waking up at 6 a.m. to fight for a spot at the local market — battling it out with local farmers — while lighting palo santo and selling my candles to people from all over the world…
Honestly, I probably would’ve believed it. Because magical, illogical, and surprising things do happen once we dare to take the leap.
Our products have grown so much in these last seven months. The base ingredients remain the same, and so does the mission: To work with natural, local ingredients!
We’ve made some new friends, and overall, our presence at the market has been warmly received by fellow makers.
From my personal experience after a full month there, I can say Slovenians are organized, punctual, and sweet — though to reach that sweetness, you have to get past a few frowns and gift them a couple of sincere smiles and a lot of “dober dans.” 😊
This is just the beginning of a brighter, cleaner, more conscious candle journey. We’re honored to have you with us — lighting up spaces with nature’s finest ingredients.
