Nothing says sustainable and elegant quite like linen.
We grew up in a humble family, but our mamá always loved comfort and durability. In a hot city like Caracas, nothing felt more classy and appropriate than linen. So it’s no surprise that, after many trials and doubts, linen became the protagonist of CocoBee’s packaging.
At first, I (Rosa) resisted the idea. I loved the bags, the vibe they gave the brand, the simplicity of working with the supplier… but they didn’t feel “professional” enough. Most “serious” brands use boxes full of labels, warnings, and colorful prints.
How could CocoBee grow without that?
But then, while asking around for packaging, something magical happened:
- In Caracas, my dad started hand-painting the linen bags as a way to clear his mind.
- When I left Venezuela and the supply ran out, my grandmother began sewing them herself.
The bags stuck with us — they had become part of our memory.
It’s no surprise that a reel of my grandmother sewing the bags went viral.
Back in Slovenia Alex had the game-changing idea of sealing each one with our wax-stamped logo. From that moment on our bags felt professional and classy.
Today, every CocoBee candle arrives in a beautiful, reusable linen bag – practical, durable, and full of meaning. Clients smile every time they see their candle wrapped inside, knowing the bag can live on as many times as they wish.
✨ Long story short: these linen bags are our greatest pride at CocoBee. For us, they’re not “just packaging” — they’re proof that CocoBee is built with many hands, one bag at a time.
